The cost of filing a patent application with the USPTO can run into tens of thousands of dollars after legal fees. In many cases much of that expense is incurred in the time taken to bridge the gap that often exists between the legal minds working on the application and the technical minds of the inventors.

As a patent agent I can help you cut costs and improve the value of your applications in several ways.

• Writing, filing, and prosecuting directly with the USPTO and managing PCT requirements. Typical fees are shown here.
  


• Working with inventors and writing complete applications that can be prosecuted by attorneys of your choice. The same fees apply, your attorneys will get a document that is already in final draft form and ready to be filed. Only minor adjustments, if any, will be needed to go to prosecution.
  


• Working with scientists to identify inventions that may otherwise remain unexploited. I can do this by having regular contact with your inventors, or remotely through your regular technical reporting system. Results in projects of commercial or technical importance would initiate the searches and background work necessary to drive an application preparation.
